I worked with Bob at BT. There were several of us who use to go out socialising with Bob. Working with Bob was great, his logic was brilliant and funny. My wife and I watched Bobs funeral (my wife Barbara was also part of the social group) and I had to smile when it was mentioned he drank 2 bottles of port when going to parties, the first bottle being the best. I asked him why he did this and true to Bobs logic he said after the first bottle he wouldn't appreciate the 2nd bottle as much as he'd be drunk.

We as a social and working group have very fond memories of Bob, he will be missed. One of lifes' great characters, it's such a pity BT in Bordesly Green closed and we all went our seperate ways.
